Home Is Basically a Rabbit HutchDateline: sometime in 2012...
Help, I am trapped in a small rural dwelling with two cats that do not respect me. I am forced to clean up after their vile leavings which are indescribable in polite company. They eat small tins of expensive smelly food, bags of nuggets made out of compressed mice, and my tears. I used to live with rabbits, who were wonderful accomplices with a very sweet nature and who often treated me very well. But rabbits do not live long enough, and they also eat up all the carpets and electrical cords, sometimes shortening their short lives even more abruptly. I did not say rabbits are smart. But now I am entering a new phase of life where I am finding my cats are also not very smart. We are all doomed because they have the house keys hidden someplace and do not remember where. |
